Funky up moving on towards tenor madness in the last hour. I had cuts like Art Pepper & Zoot Sims and a scorching live version of "Four Brothers" lined up, but there is never enough time to do everything. Sonny Stitt is my hero lately. One blunder: I mentioned a famous tenor album featuring Al, Zoot, Hank, and Trane, but I mistakenly called it "Tenor Madness." The name of the album is actually "Tenor Conclave." "Tenor Madness" is another famous album that features only Sonny Rollins and Trane on tenor.

It is called the 8th continent and it is a large black storm, shaped like the geode rock you stole from the Boston Science Museum:

I quite enjoyed the Sonny Stitt last night. Great selections. I might have enjoyed the rest of the show had I tuned in earlier. But now I'll make up for the missed show and listen to the archives online stream. Thanks,
