10/30/06 (It's Halloweeeeen....)

Another meandering show. Some good connections. A guy called in to tell me that George Harrison was the best Beatle. I had to agree that he was underappreciated. The show was all on CD and vinyl, mostly vinyl. I need that pop and tone. At the end of the show, I had Michael Jackson's Halloween classic "Thriller" cued up but there wasn't enough time. Oh well. Another playlist. You can listen at wmbr.org under "Archives" and then Running, Returning. During my first show the computer system was messed up so it didn't save my tunes. So that original show is lost forever, except for the radio waves emanating from Earth into space. Perhaps some extraterrestial consciousness will experience the vibrations and feel happy for even a short moment in spacetime. It is a lesson about the impermanence of all things, I guess.
